Date went well; got a second date coming up. Got his phone number. Getting tea with him on Wednesday. He admitted he was nervous; I swear, he just gets more adorable the more I talk to him.

Amusing thing about my date: crazy ex-boyfriend was there with his girlfriend in the theatre. Watching the same film. I thought I was hallucinating but nope, definitely him. It was really quite funny to me, seeing as when he read my tumblr and confronted me via text when we weren't even going out that he was "sorry I'm not cute physics guy," i.e. Jamie. Not exactly something you can mention in casual conversation on a first date, but whatever.

Also, first date? I think there will be plenty more coming up. This is nice. I like this. A lot, actually.

Absolutely zero.

I went to bed at ten last night because it was better than lying on my bed in foetal position and it seemed like a good way to pretend I didn't exist. Then I slept in until after eleven.

It is getting to the point where I try to find ways to pretend I am not alive, and I don't think that's very good. Clearly there is something not good about this, but I can't for the life of me begin to fathom what it really is, though.

Impossible soul.

- read articles for Jane Austen; YOUR FINAL EXAM IS ON 1 DECEMBER And it was awful.
- quiz bowl tournament 3 Dec; also, celebrate your mother's birthday somehow, perhaps by taking her out for coffee on the 2nd because Dad will be taking her out to dinner and they'll be going to Nashville on the night of the 3rd to see the Sabres
- buy your mother a birthday present
- creative writing portfolio with some revised work due 5 Dec Revising today!
- read short stories for Creative Writing: annotate, do letters [one for 28 Nov, two for 30 Nov] About four pages of letters
